“6-24-2020” Continues to be Recognized by Jurors!

My op art painting “6-24-2020” was started at the height of the pandemic, and was completed about one year later. This acrylic on canvas, which is part of my Interreticulation Series, seems to be a favorite of exhibition jurors. I am so honored and pleased with their recognition. Recently, it was awarded “Best In Show” at the 2022 Abstract Art Exhibition presented by Artists’ Space Gallery. https://artistspacegallery.com/abstract2022/. Right before Christmas, I packed it up and shipped it to NYC where it was accepted into Viridian’s 32nd International Juried Competition, Juried by Heather Ferrell. https://viridianartist.com/ It was also included in the Contemporary Art Gallery Online 2022 ALL Abstraction Art Competition and Exhibition: https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-qkw26x/. This painting was accepted in the Allied Artists of America 108th Annual Exhibition. This juried exhibition included nearly 500 works and was on view at the Salmagundi Club in NYC September 2 – September 19, 2021. This painting was also accepted in the juried exhibition High Contrast International Juried Exhibition Poughkeepsie, NY, March 11 – April 14, 2022. It was part of an invitational show in Lancaster, PA: “Undercover Artists, Uncovered,” in May 2022. It was also accepted in Cerulean Arts’ 10th Annual Juried Exhibition, June 15 – July 17, 2022, and was featured on page 143 of the June 2022 issue of Artistonish Magazine.
