Entitled “February 4 2019” – after the date I began work on it – this is a 12” X 12” original acrylic on panel painting. It has been framed in a white wood floater frame and is ready to hang. It is part of my Interreticulation Series, which refers to multiple layers of lines – or reticulations – that form patterns, depth, and movement. I have been influenced by the Op Artists of the 1960s and 1970s, including Julian Stanczak and Richard Anuszkiewicz, as well as contemporary geometric abstract artist Suzie Rosmarin.
